About
Us
We are Adrian and Jo Chorlton, and we run Days
of Wonder – a company that provides educational experience
days for schools, with an emphasis on fun with a purpose!
Our vision for Days of Wonder is to create
those memorable experiences that children will always remember,
those days that you can recall even now, those days that you
enjoyed, and although you weren’t aware of it at the time,
taught you lots too.

Jo Chorlton has taught for thirteen years,
since gaining her BAEd Hons in Primary Education (Ages
3 – 8) in 1994. She began her teaching career at
an infant school in East Sussex, where she taught in Reception,
and had responsibility for Science in the school. In 1996
Jo moved to a big primary school in East Sussex, where
she taught Reception, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 4. During
the eleven years spent at this school Jo has helped co-ordinate
Design Technology, Key Stage 1 music, Science and PSHE.
In 2005 Jo carried out an action research project on the
use of drama in teaching friendship skills. This has lead
to a firm belief in the effectiveness of using puppets
with children, and inspired her to use Sam the Astronaut
puppet in the planetarium. In 2006 Jo achieved the Certification
for Teachers of PSHE.
Jo is married to Adrian and is step mum
to his four sons.
